In the Romanian district of Tulcea, the wreckage of a Russian-origin kamikaze drone "Geran 1/2" (Shahed) has been identified.
"With reference to the investigations initiated yesterday, on July 24th, by specialists of MoND, Romanian Intelligence Service and Ministry of Internal Affairs, we mention that, up to this moment, the remains of a Geran1/2 type-drone of Russian origin were identified at the first of the three locations identified as possible areas of incidence, in the vicinity of Plauru, Tulcea County. Search will continue today to cover the entire area. We make it clear that all the locations identified as possible areas of incidence are outside the inhabited areas, not affecting the infrastructure elements.," This is stated in a press release from the Romanian Ministry of National Defence.
