This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, who spoke at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz after their meeting on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin.
“Today, Ukrainian and German officials, our communities, our businesses are represented here, and now we have concrete agreements at each level that will be implemented to better protect the lives of Ukraine and Ukrainians,” Zelensky said.
During the meeting, Volodymyr Zelensky and Olaf Scholz discussed in detail the frontline developments and the steps needed to ensure sufficient generation of energy. The president thanked the German chancellor for leadership in protecting the Ukrainian skies with Patriot systems.

Polish government defines buffer zone on border with Belarus
"We have adopted a resolution, which resulted in the order of the Minister of the Interior and Administration to create a zone on the border with Belarus, which has been loudly discussed in recent days," said the head of the Polish government, Donald Tusk.
Tusk stressed that the government is aware of the growing discomfort of residents of the border regions from the creation of this buffer zone. However, everything possible will be done to help the locals in connection with the hybrid war of Russia and Belarus against Poland.

The "de-imperialization" of Sevastopol Park continues in Dnipro
In the park, a monument is being dismantled at the site of the mass grave of fallen soldiers. Previously, on the central alley leading to the monument, the bust of Crimean War heroes was dismantled. This park was created on the site of a city cemetery where participants of the Crimean War of 1854-55, who died from injuries in hospitals of Katerynoslav, were buried. The park, along with the memorial in the form of a burial mound, was established for the 100th anniversary of the end of the Crimean War in 1955. Even before the start of the Great War, the remains of the first honorary citizen of Katerynoslav, Alexander Polya, were found in the park. The city authorities announced plans for the park's reconstruction and the creation of a Pantheon of prominent city residents.
