Ukraine strikes 18 Russian vessels, key oil facilities overnight
Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck 18 Russian vessels overnight on July 10, including 13 tankers, as well as the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, the Kurgannefteprodukt oil terminal in Taganrog, Rostov region, and several other enemy facilities.
UN: 265 civilians killed in Ukraine in June due to Russian attacks
In June, at least 265 civilians were killed, and 1,816 were injured as a result of Russian strikes on Ukraine—one of the highest civilian casualty figures since the start of the full-scale war.
According to Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo, the OHCHR has confirmed that since the start of the war in Ukraine, at least 16,402 civilians, including 802 children, have been killed, and 48,428 people, including 2,948 children, have been injured. At the same time, the actual number of victims is likely much higher.
