Russian missile attack on Ukraine: 36 killed, 140 injured
On Monday, July 8, 31 people were killed and more than 100 injured as a result of a Russian missile strike on Ukraine.
"Today Russia has struck many cities of our country: Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, cities of our Donetsk region. In particular, it hit the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv, which is one of the most important not only for our country but also for our entire region. The attack hit the department where children were receiving dialysis. The buildings were damaged and the rubble is still being cleared," stated President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Russia hits Okhmatdyt children's hospital with Kh-101 missile - SBU
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has established that the Russian invaders struck the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv with a Kh-101 strategic cruise missile.
Relevant evidence was found at the scene of the tragedy, including fragments of the Kh-101 missile’s body with a serial number, as well as part of the rudder of the same missile.

5 buildings of Okhmatdyt were affected by the attack. Currently, 20 people are known to have been injured, and the data is constantly being updated. Many of the doctors at the hospital were injured, but continue to work and help others.

In total, according to preliminary data, Russian war criminals fired 38 missiles of various types:

2 Kh-22 cruise missiles;

July 9 declared Day of Mourning in Kyiv
The city authorities declare July 9 a Day of Mourning in the capital due to Russia's terrorist attack on civilian objects in Kyiv. On this day, flags on all municipal buildings in the city will be at half-mast. It is also recommended to lower the state flags on public and private buildings.
