Zelensky at Budapest summit: We need enough weapons, not support in talks
"I thank all of you for your support of Ukraine and our people. We are defending ourselves not against Russian words, but against Russian attacks. Therefore, we need sufficient weapons, not support in talks. Hugs with Putin won't help. Some of you have been hugging him for 20 years, and things are only getting worse," Zelensky said.
He added that Russian leader Vladimir Putin "thinks only about wars and will not change" and that "only pressure can put limits on him."
"We have built a clear diplomatic system capable of pushing Russia toward a just peace. Most of the nations here have participated in this effort for effective diplomacy. Thematic conferences have already covered every point of the Peace Formula. Nuclear safety, food security, energy, the return of prisoners and deported people to Ukraine, and full enforcement of international law, and much more. We need to push Russia towards this. And a just peace will be a shared victory. The Plan of Victory is on your table. So Ukraine was the first to propose changing our common strategy to reach, and soon, a just peace," Zelensky said.

Euro-Atlantic stability depends on situation of Ukraine - ex-NATO general
The new U.S. administration will have to understand that Ukraine's independence and stability are necessary for stability in the Euro-Atlantic space, while Europe must at the same time take on more commitments to support Kyiv.
Horst-Heinrich Braus, former NATO Assistant Secretary General for Defense Policy expressed the opinion that Trump's previous statements that he would try to persuade Ukraine to stop fighting, otherwise he would stop the supply of weapons, will not be brought into life, and that, as soon as the 47th president takes on his duties, his advisers will recommend that he do the exact opposite. After all, what was said before is not in the interests of the United States.
However, the ex-general admitted, he is concerned, and "everyone is concerned, especially about Putin's possible response."

Navy spox comments on operation of Ukraine’s maritime corridor, enemy activity at sea
Ukraine’s maritime corridor continues to operate as scheduled. Currently, the enemy does not use missile weapons against the Odesa region’s port infrastructure.
“As you can see, the situation here also remains unchanged. Now, you can observe a sort of pause: no missile weapons are used against the port infrastructure. But, prior to that, as you know, they [Russia – Ed.] used, among other things, missile weapons, drones, air-launched missiles, namely the Iskander-M tactical ballistic missile systems, in order to strike the Odesa region’s ports,” told Spokesperson for the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Captain 3rd Rank Dmytro Pletenchuk.

Ruining Petro Mohyla Church in Mariupol is a cultural genocide – Tochytskyi
Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications Mykola Tochytskyi stated that the Russian invaders are deliberately destroying Ukrainian cultural heritage, intending to erase everything that forms the Ukrainian identity.
The intention to change the unique decoration of the church in accordance with the canons of the Russian Orthodox Church is “a direct attempt to displace Ukrainian culture and impose alien values on us,” the minister said.
“This temple, which was spiritual support for Mariupol residents in the most difficult times, is now being turned into an instrument of enemy propaganda. I strongly condemn such barbaric actions and emphasize that: Ukraine will always fight to preserve its cultural symbols. Illegal ‘converting’ of churches will not erase our memory and will not destroy our connection with our own history,” Tochytskyi said.
