Attack on Kyiv: Air raid alert lasted more than nine hours, air defenses destroyed all drones
The enemy drones started entering the territory of Ukraine yesterday evening (around 10 p.m.) from the southern and eastern directions. The majority of Ukrainian regions, including Kyiv, were at risk of being targeted by air strikes. The air raid alert was announced in the capital before midnight and lasted for more than nine hour.
All objectives set for Kursk raid being realized - Zelensky
"Today, there was a report from Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi. As every day, it was about each part of the front, with special reference to Pokrovsk, Toretsk, and the Kurakhove direction. Separate mention was made of the operation in the Kursk region. It is very important that absolutely all the objectives set for our Kursk operation are being realized," the president said, thanking every soldier, sergeant, and officer involved.
Ukraine going for first ammo purchase with money raised via United24 platform
The Defense Procurement Agency at the Ministry of Defense has awarded the first UAH 47 million contract for the purchase of ammunition using funds raised through the United24 platform.
The press service recalled that in May 2024, the government allowed MoD’s procurement agencies to transfer funds from a special account for the support of the Armed Forces, opened to attract donations through United24. Funds may be transferred to agencies for defense procurement purposes upon the MoD approval.
