Injury toll from Russian attack on Kyiv rises to 90, six dead
The number of people injured as a result of Russia’s massive attack on Kyiv on June 2 has risen to 90, while six people have been killed.
In the Darnytskyi district, as a result of the fall of what is likely UAV debris, a fire broke out on the territory of a gas station.
In the Obolonskyi district, falling debris was recorded in open areas — both near kindergartens. A fire also broke out on the territory of an unfinished construction project.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, as a result of falling debris, a fire broke out in a non-residential 3-story building, and there was partial, minor damage to the facade and roof of a 9-story residential building. Additionally, due to debris hitting a 24-story residential building, a fire broke out at the level of the 4th-5th floors. Falling debris also caused a fire in 2 other non-residential premises in the Shevchenkivskyi district.





In the Sviatoshynskyi district, as a result of debris hitting, a fire broke out on the 1st floor of a 5-story residential building, and a fire also broke out on the territory of a non-residential development.
In the Podilskyi district, preliminarily, as a result of a repeated missile strike on a 9-story residential building, a partial collapse of structures occurred. Also, according to preliminary information, debris fell onto the roof of another 9-story residential building, causing a fire on the roof and damaging window glass. Furthermore, in the Podilskyi district, due to the fall of what is likely UAV debris, a fire broke out on the territory of a non-residential development, spreading to the territory of other non-residential buildings. In an open area of one of the municipal enterprises, debris damaged several cars and a warehouse facility.
In the Holosiivskyi district, the destruction of the 2nd and 3rd floors of a clinic occurred. In an open area, as a result of falling debris, several cars were on fire. Falling debris was also recorded in open areas.

In the Solomianskyi district, debris hit the upper floors of a 15-story residential building, and a fire broke out in a 24-story building at the level of the 7th-8th floors. As a result of falling debris, a fire broke out in a building on the territory of a non-residential development. According to preliminary information, fires due to falling debris were recorded in 2 private houses.

Death toll from Russian missile strike on Dnipro rises to 16 as rescue operation ends
Search and rescue operations have been completed in a residential neighborhood of Dnipro hit by Russian missiles overnight. The attack killed 16 people and injured 42 others.




Body found under rubble of lyceum building after Russian attack in Chernihiv region
After yesterday’s Russian attack, the body of a local woman was found under the rubble of the Novoborovytskyi Lyceum in Chernihiv region, where she apparently had taken shelter in the basement of the school.
Ukraine downs 40 missiles, 602 drones during Russia’s large-scale air assault
Ukraine’s air defense forces neutralized 40 missiles and 602 drones launched by Russian forces during a massive overnight attack that began on the evening of June 1.
In total, Air Force radar units detected 729 aerial threats, including 73 missiles and 656 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types.
The missiles launched by Russia included:
8 Zircon (3M22) anti-ship missiles launched from occupied Crimea and Russia’s Kursk region;
33 Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from Russia’s Bryansk, Kursk, and Rostov regions, as well as occupied Crimea;
27 Kh-101 cruise missiles launched from Russia’s Vologda region;
5 Kalibr cruise missiles launched from the Caspian Sea.
Russia also deployed 656 drones, including Shahed attack drones, Gerbera and Italmas UAVs, Banderol loitering munitions, and Parodiya decoy drones. They were launched from multiple locations in Russia, including Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Hvardiiske and Chauda in occupied Crimea.
According to preliminary data as of 08:30 on June 2, Ukrainian defenders destroyed or suppressed 642 aerial targets, including:
11 Iskander-M ballistic missiles;
26 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
3 Kalibr cruise missiles;
602 drones of various types.
Zelensky warns Russia preparing strikes on Ukrainian missile developers
